Finance Sector Profits Surge 97% to NPR 1.64 Billion in Q4 2082/83; Best Finance Leads the Growth

Listed finance companies on NEPSE saw total net profit jump 97% to NPR 1,640.30 million in Q4 FY 2082/83, up from NPR 832.44 million in Q4 FY 2081/82.

Manjushree Finance (MFIL) earned the highest net profit at NPR 376.38 million (+20%), while Best Finance (BFC) posted the highest growth rate at 3,271% (NPR 69.77 million). Gurkhas Finance (GUFL) staged a major turnaround, shifting from an NPR 127.39 million loss to an NPR 219.40 million profit. Conversely, Nepal Finance (NFS) experienced the biggest slump, dropping into a net loss of NPR 69.61 million.
