Finance Minister, Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada, has presented a bill in the parliament for the amendments in Banks and Financial Institutions Act (BAFIA), 2073 along with three other bills. They are:

Amendments in Securities Act, 2063
Amendments in Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058
Amendments and unification in public debt management regulations
