Standard Chartered Bank Unveils Book Closure Date for its 19% Cash Dividend; Calls AGM on Mangsir 24

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited(SCB) has called its 37th AGM on Sunday, 24th Mangsir, 2080 (10th December 2023). The meeting will be held at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting from 1 PM that day. 

Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 19% cash dividend (including tax) which is literally 19 rupees only. The paid-up capital of the bank stands at Rs. 9.42 Arba. The AGM will also approve the annual report for the financial year 2079/80.

Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, balance sheet for the year ended in mid-2080, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2079/80 and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81. The agenda pertaining to the revision of the Articles of Association will also be approved during the meeting. If any change is suggested by the regulatory body or office in the proposed amendment of the articles, then the board of directors should be authorized to make the necessary changes accordingly.


The book closure date is on 7th Mangsir, 2080. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.
