MetLife Nepal GM Nirmal Kajee Shrestha Receives Asian Professional Achievement Award

MetLife Nepal Vice President and General Manager Nirmal Kaji Shrestha Receives has received the Asian Professional Achievement Award in the Outstanding Leadership in Life Insurance & Financial Services category.

Shrestha became the first Nepali Citizen to lead Metlife Nepal in 2017. During his tenure, the company has focused on customer experience, digital innovation, operational efficiency and developing local leadership talent.

The award organized by Season Media recognizes professionals across Asia for leadership, innovation, industry contribution, and their professional achievements. This year’s recipients included professionals from China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Japan, and Nepal.

Shrestha said the recognition reflects the contribution of MetLife employees, agents, partners, and stakeholders, adding that the company will continue investing in its people and strengthening standards in Nepal’s insurance industry.
