Radisson Hotel Kathmandu organizes fruit soaking event; women professionals from different fields gather to honor the  mixing

Radisson Hotel Kathmandu organized the fruit soaking event on 31st October 2021. The event was held at Terrace Garden, which is a spectacular outdoor venue located on the fourth floor where the elaborated ingredients were placed in order. The women professionals; diplomats, women entrepreneurs, public figures, athletes, and social activists were invited by the hotel to honor the mixing.

General Manager Mr. Subrata Banerjee started the event with a welcome speech and introduced the new Executive Chef of the hotel Mr. Sunal Krishna Kabiraj Thakur to everyone. Executive Chef then took the event forward by giving a brief description of the fruit soaking event, its history, and procedures to mix the fruits.

The attendees followed the Chef’s guidelines and mixed the comprehensive list of dry fruits with spices, herbs, wine, beer, rum, and whisky. It is believed that fruits should be soaked and mixed more than a month prior to getting the authentic taste and flavor for Christmas cake. Radisson Hotel Kathmandu, therefore, was the first amongst other hotels to organize the fruit soaking ceremony this year. Everyone participated to make the event merry and fun-filled.
