Nepal Life Insurance AGM approves 25% bonus share; paid up capital to reach Rs 3.09 arba

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has successfully conducted its 17th AGM yesterday (Chaitra 14, 2073). The AGM was held in Birgunj and has approved issuance of 25% bonus share to its shareholders.
As per the press statement published by the insurance company, it stated that the allottees of recently concluded Further Public Offering (FPO) are also eligible for the bonus shares. With this, the paid up capital of the life insurance company will reach Rs 3.09 arba—the highest among all life insurance companies in Nepal.
The AGM has also elected Mr. Ramesh Gupta, Mr. Harish Chandra Subedi, Mr. Vivek Agrawal and Mr. Prakash Bikram Khatri as directors representing the public shareholders.
