World Investor Week 2026 Begins with Awareness Rallies in Three Cities

World Investor Week 2026 began on Ashwin 19 with simultaneous awareness rallies in Pokhara, Biratnagar, and Surkhet, organized by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) in collaboration with the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (SBAN).
The rallies aimed to raise public awareness about the capital market, investment practices, and investor rights and protection. Around 600 people participated in Pokhara, 350 in Biratnagar, and 400 in Surkhet, with participation from SEBON officials, stockbrokers, merchant bankers, banks and financial institutions, investors, and other capital market stakeholders.
The week-long program, running from Ashwin 19–25, will feature capital market training, speech and presentation competitions, panel discussions, and other investor awareness activities aimed at promoting informed, responsible, and risk-conscious investment.
