Nepal Infrastructure Development Bank makes foothold in infra sector of Nepal; makes maiden investment of Rs 4.06 arba in consortium with other banks

Nepal Infrastructure Development Bank has begun its investment portfolio by investing in 32 MW hydro electricity project Karuwa Seti Hydro Power located in Kaski district.

The consortium led by the Infrastructure Development Bank with Himalayan Bank and Sanima Bank as other consortium partners have together signed a joint financing agreement with the hydro project for Rs 4.06 arba worth loan investment where the total project cost is Rs 5.80 arba.

The bank has already identified number of infra sectors for investment including hydro and solar energy, hospitality, health and education and so on and will soon begin making investment in these areas, as per the statement.
