Gold Price Surges in Nepal Following International Market Trend

The rising price of gold in the international market has directly impacted the local market, with a significant increase recorded in the value of precious metals in Nepal.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been continuously increasing since Wednesday. As of today, the price of gold has risen by Rs. 1,700 per tola, reaching Rs. 191,500. Similarly, silver has also seen a rise of Rs. 35 per tola, with the current market price standing at Rs. 2,025.
The surge in local prices is attributed to the sharp increase in the international market. As reported by international media, gold is currently trading at USD 3,355 per ounce.
