NEPSE Concludes Last Trading Day Before Dashain With 0.31% Gain; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 4.88 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate gain, gaining 8.23 points (0.31%) to close at 2,634.17. This follows a 4.67 point gain in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,626.42 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,638.42 and a low of 2,622.78 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.88 Arba, with 13,376,489 shares traded across 348 companies through 39,295 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.34 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.46 Kharba.

Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 20.49 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 310.90.

Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited (CKHL) led the gainer's list with a 14.82% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 581.00.

Meanwhile,10.75% SBL Debenture 2089 (SBLD89) recorded the Negative Circuit, falling by 5.84%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,370.00.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.73%, while Trading Index recorded the least gain, up 0.54%.
