Laxmi Value Fund and Laxmi Equity Fund reports decline in NAV to Rs 10.87 and Rs 8.81 respectively

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1), a close end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 10.87 NAV for the month of Falgun while it was Rs 11.21 for the previous month. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 50 crore, has invested Rs 33.10 crore in the shares of 40 listed companies and Rs 6.91 lakh in public issues. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Value Fund-1 has bought 48,056 units of shares of Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA), however the highest amount invested is Rs 3.32 crore in 40, 318 shares of Nabil Bank Limited Promoter Share (NABILP). It has set aside Rs 9 crore as fixed deposit and Rs 12.06 crore as bank balance. It has reported net loss of 4.59 crore which was Rs 2.90 crore in the last month. Report Similarly, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a close-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme also managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 8.81 as its NAV for the month of Falgun which has diminished from Rs 9.15 for the previous month. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1.25 arba has invested Rs 61.85 crore in listed shares and Rs 17.28 lakh in public issues. The scheme has invested in 11.12 lakh unit shares of 53 listed companies as of Falgun end. It has reported net loss of Rs 14.65 crore which was Rs 10.37 crore in the previous month. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Equity Fund has bought 61, 574 units shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) worth Rs 1.34 crore. Report
