Laxmi value Fund-1 and Laxmi Equity Fund report fall in NAV for Ashwin; both report increase in net loss

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1), a closed-end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported decline in NAV to Rs.9.54 from Rs.9.56 for the month of Ashwin.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.50 Crore, has invested Rs.22.76 Crore in the shares of 28 listed companies and has Rs.2.03 Lakhs investment in public issues.

This mutual fund has Rs.5 Crore as fixed deposit and Rs.20.19 Crore as bank balance. It has reported net loss of Rs.11.40 Crore till end of Ashwin month.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Value Fund-1 has bought highest 45,158 units shares of the Nabil Bank Limited worth Rs.3.43 Crore.

Similarly, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme also managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported fall in NAV to Rs.8.351 from Rs.8.41 in the month of Ashwin.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.1.25 Arba has invested Rs.81.12 Crore in listed shares of 76 different companies.

LEMF has invested Rs.14.54 Lakh in initial public offerings and Rs.2 Crore in bond/debentures. This mutual fund has Rs.6.50 crore as fixed deposit and Rs.15.19 Crore as bank balance.

It has reported net loss of Rs.29.31 Crore till Ashwin.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Equity Fund has made high investment in Nepal Bank Limited worth Rs.3.66 Crore.
