NEPSE Edges Up By 1.53 to Close at 2,695.73 levels; Three Companies Hit Upper Circuit While Intraday Turnover Stood at 8.22 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 1.53 points (0.05%) to settle at 2,695.73. This follows a 19.85 point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2680.43, touching an intraday high of 2,706.98, while the lowest point was 2,679.86. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.22 Arba, with 17,507,776 shares traded across 330 companies through 91,061 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.26 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.40 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 41.49 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 326.90.

Three Companies hit the upper circuit with 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Mithila LaghuBitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, the Hotels And Tourism Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.77%, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss at 0.89%.
