For how long do ex-employees of BFI have to wait to join another BFI? See what NRB has to say about the matter

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published a notice which states the time period for which an ex-employee of BFI cannot join other BFI.

As per the notice, the deputy governor or the CEO of an ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ class BFI cannot join another BFI for a period of 3 years from the date of leaving the institution. Similarly, the administrative level employees of the above mentioned institutes cannot join another BFI for a period of 2 years from the date of leaving the institution for any post. After the completion of the said period, the employee can join any BFI for any post after getting the approval from the deputy governor or the CEO of the bank. The NRB should be informed regarding the approval for the said appointment.

Similarly, for ‘D’ class institutes, the time period for deputy governor or CEO or administrative level employee is 2 years. After the said period, the employee can join any BFI upon approval from the bank and informing the NRB.
