Central Bank organizes webinar to review fiscal policy and financial situation of contemporary Nepal; officials representing different sectors highlight COVID induced challenges in respective areas

Nepal Rastra Bank has conducted a virtual interaction event to review the fiscal policy for the fiscal year 2077-78 and the overall economic situation of the nation during the ongoing phase of COVID crises.

The event was attended by business representatives from 66 districts of the nation where Governor Mr. Maha Prashad Adhikari stressed about the stimulation package presented by the government and the federal bank and urged the business community to utilize the package to the optimum.

The event was also addressed by Secretary from Finance Ministry Mr. Sisir Kumar Dhungana, Financial Adviser to the finance Minister Dr. Prakash kumar Shrestha, Secretary from Ministry of Commerce Dr. Narayan Prasad Regmi, Senior VP of FNCCI Mr. Sekhar Golchha, chairman of Nepal Bankers Association Mr. Bhuwan Kumar Dahal, ED of Banking and Financial Institution Regulation Department Mr. Dev Kumar Dhakal, among many others who stressed upon the ongoing challenges and initiatives in various sectors brought about after the COVID crises, as per the media statement.
