Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited Is Closing Auction of Unclaimed Rights Shares Today

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) has announced the closure of its auction for 4,74,696 units of unclaimed rights shares from the previous 1:1 rights offering. The auction, which opened on 21st Jestha, officially closes today, 29th Jestha, 2083.

A total of 35,25,304 shares were allotted to valid applicants, leaving 4,74,696 units (11.86%) unclaimed by eligible investors.

Of the total 40,00,000 units of rights shares issued, 35,25,304 units (88.13%) were subscribed by eligible shareholders, while 11.86% remained unclaimed. As a result, these 4,74,696 ordinary right shares will now be auctioned to the general public.

This auction includes the unclaimed portion of the rights issuance. BNHC had originally offered a 1:1 rights share issuance to its shareholders from 22nd Chaitra, 2083, to 28th Baishakh, 2083.

Both individuals and institutions are eligible to participate in the bidding process.

NIC Asia Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this auction. The minimum bid rate is Rs. 100 per share, and the minimum bid quantity is 100 units for ordinary right shares. While bidders may place bids for all available shares, they must comply with regulatory limits on the maximum allowable share quantity per entity.
