CEO of Machhapuchhre Bank resigns in 16 months of appointment; difference with the board members

CEO of Machhapuchhre Bank Mr Niraj Kumar Shrestha has resigned from his post. He was appointed in Ashoj 17, 2073 for 4 years but he has resigned in 16 months of his tenure.
Differences with the board members have caused him to resign from the post. The board was dissatisfied with the performance of the bank after his appointment. The responsibility of the post has been given to Mr Arjun Thapa.
Mr Shrestha had started his banking career from Standard Chartered Bank in 1989 A.D. He possesses a huge experience in the banking sector as he had served as MD and Deputy MD of NIC Asia and Global IME Bank.
