Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Company Limited Calls AGM on Jestha 26; To Endorse 8.421% Dividend

Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Company Limited (PMLI) has called its 8th AGM on 26th Jestha, 2082. The meeting will be held in the Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse an 8.421% dividend for FY 2080/81. The 23rd Board of Directors meeting on Baishakh 17 has decided to distribute an 8% bonus share, and a 0.421% cash dividend (including tax) has been proposed.

During the 7th Annual General Meeting, a proposal was initially made to issue 7% rights shares based on the paid-up capital. However, following the distribution of the proposed bonus shares, the paid-up capital will meet the regulatory requirement set by the concerned authority. Therefore, the meeting has passed a proposal to cancel the earlier decision regarding the rights share issuance. Furthermore, it has been decided to maintain the paid-up capital at Rs. 5.10 Arba after the issuance of bonus shares.

Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports, appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82, and approve the appointment of directors.

Jestha 23 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can attend this AGM.
