Weekly Wrap-up of NEPSE December 12 to 17; Index down by 8.67 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange managed to remain above 1100 point throughout this week where the benchmark index on Sunday opened at 1119.35 points.

However, NEPSE index reported surged by 1.61 points on Monday, 0.84 points on Tuesday whereas the index plunged by 4.83 points on Wednesday and 5.51 points on Thursday to close at 1110.68 level on the last trading day of the week.Overall the NEPSE index was down by 8.67 points in this week.

Similarly Sensitive and Float index went down by 3.48 and 1 points respectively compared to last week. Among the sub-indices, Insurance gained 236.39 points or 4.98 percent to stand at 4993.57 levels.

Banking, Finance and Hydropower lost 30.48, 6.93 and 38.21 points respectively as compared to the last week.
