NEPSE Concludes the Week at All-Time High (Technical Analysis of NEPSE Index With Sector Comparison and Major Highlights)

Nepse index closed at an all-time high of 3179 points. The Index made 98.10 points volatility with the market reaching the highest 3197 and the lowest 3098.90. The index gained 71.55 points (2.30%) in this trading week. Last week market closed at 3107.45 points and this week closed at 3179 points on Thursday. 

Exponential Moving Average:

Nepse index is above both 5 days EMA and 20 days EMA. Nepse Index above moving average signals for Bullishness. Recently, 5 days EMA has crossed its 20 Days EMA forming a Golden crossover pattern. The Golden cross is a technical pattern indicating the potential for a major rally.

Relative Strength Index:

Relative Strength Index is a momentum oscillator that measures between zero and 100. Currently, the Relative Strength Index is at the 76.70 level. Traditionally the RSI is considered overbought when above 70 and oversold when below 30.

Moving Average Convergence and Divergence:

MACD line (blue) and the signal line (red line) are in the Positive zone.  The signal line has crossed the MACD line, this indicates a bullish signal. A histogram is also in the positive zone.  MACD is indicating upward momentum.

Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JBLB) is the top gainer of this week. JBLB closed at Rs. 2425.5 with Rs. 919 (61.03%) increment.
