Triveni & Kasthamandap Bikas Bank profit surges by 52.07% & 448.82% respectively in Q2; Write back of Rs 15.56 crore sky rockets profit of Kasthamandap

Triveni   Bikas Bank Limited (TBBL) has posted net profit surged by 52.07 percent in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73. As per the unaudited financial report for the second quarter published today, the development bank has stated that it has accumulated net profit of Rs 5.54 crore in the Q2 up from Rs 3.64crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal year report.   Its net interest income increased to Rs14.12 crore in Q2 from Rs 10.15 crore in the previous year. The bank has collected deposits of Rs 8.26 arba while it has mobilized loan and advances of  Rs 5.81 arba. Triveni Bikas Bank has a paid up capital of Rs 82 crore and reserve of Rs 17.38crore. The development bank’s NPL dropped to 1.77% from 1.96% in Q2 and CD ratio remains at 63.42%. Its Earnings per Share (annualized) remains at Rs 13.52, net worth per share stands at Rs 121.20 and PE ratio is 19 times. Meanwhile, Kasthamandap Development Bank Limited (KDBL) has reported a massive profit rise of 448.82 percent for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73. Publishing the unaudited quarterly report today, the development bank has stated that its net profit rose to Rs 15.72 crore in the second quarter, up from Rs 2.86 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2071/72. The bank’s net interest income increased to Rs 12.22 crore in the Q2, from Rs 8.69 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. The development bank collected Rs 5.85 arba in deposit and extended Rs 4.58 arba  in loan as compared to Rs 4.86 arba in deposits and Rs 3.11 arba in loan in the corresponding quarter previous year. The NPL of the bank dropped to 3.00% from 9.77% as compared to corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. Its CD ratio stands at 72.37 %. It’s EPS stands at Rs 23.12, net worth per share at Rs .111.57 and PE ratio at 8.09 times.
