NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 2.41 Points to Close at 2,616.97 With Over 5 Arba Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a minimal gain on the second trading day of this week, surging by 2.41 points (0.09%) to close at 2,616.97 points. In the previous session, the index lost 27.59 points, closing at 2614.55.
The benchmark index opened at 2,613.4, touching an intraday high of 2,627.06 and a low of 2,608.95. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.13 arba, with 12,621,188 shares traded across 329 companies through 56,347 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.02 kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.98 Kharba.
Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Limited (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 36.02 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 343.

Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) led the gainer list with 9.99% change in its price. The stock closed at Rs 439.20.

NIBL Samriddhi Fund-2 (NIBSF2) recorded a drop, falling by 4.81 % change in its price. The stock closed at Rs 9.11.

Among the sectors, Development Bank Index witnessed a highest gain by 0.90 %, while Mutual Fund recorded a highest loss by 0.41%.
