Total number of COVID-19 patients reaches 48 in the country: Ministry of Health and Population

The total number of persons contracting the COVID-19 has reached 48 in the country, with the test of a 26-year-old man from Bhojpur district resulting in positive.

Deputy Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari shared that the test conducted on the man at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health and Sciences (BPKIHS) confirmed the infection. The infected person is currently kept in isolation at the BPKIHS.

According to Adhikari, the infected person had come to Nepal from Saudi Arabia on March 13.
