Stock Market wraps up positively by 12.61 points with turnover exceeding Rs 41.11 crore; Hotels index rises by 113.96 points

Nepal stock market closed positively today. The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 12.61 points or 0.96% to close at 1,329.41 points. Today, NEPSE Index opened at 1316.80 points, the local bourse was seen fluctuating till second trading hour of the day and after that, it was seen in upward trend. 207,349 unit shares of Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) and 145,800 unit shares of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1 (SIGS1) were traded most today. 3 companies: Seti Finance Limited (SETI), RSDC Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (RSDC) and Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) hit positive circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 41.11 crore where more than 9.28 lakh unit shares were traded through 4,775 transactions. Sensitive and float index went up by 3.07 and 0.93 points respectively. Except Manufacturing & Production section and Others, all sectors in NEPSE landed in green. Sub-indices of Insurance and Hotels sector surged by 95.13 points and 113.96 points respectively.
