SEBON issues letter to CDS and clearing regarding the progress of CGT calculation method; Requests prompt response

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has issued a letter to CDS and Clearing Limited inquiring the progress of weighted average cost calculation required for CGT calculation. The letter says, "Since the process requiring the investors to go to the broker's office to prove the cost price for sell the shares is inconvenient, SEBON had instructed CDS and clearing to come up with a solution on Sharan 24, 2076. However, even after 11 days the implementation of the new system hasn't happened." Thus SEBON has asked CDS and clearing why the delay is happening.
