Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Reports Decline in Net Profit By 26.43% To Stand at Rs. 7.9 Crores In Q4; EPS at Rs. 23.26 and Net Worth Per Share at Rs. 154.49

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) has published an unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter today. It has stated that net profit has decreased by 26.43% to Rs 7.9 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2078/79 from Rs 10.8 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2077/78.
Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 3.40 arba in the review period. It has collected deposits of Rs 1.20 arba in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2078/79. It has paid-up capital of Rs 34.2 crore with a reserve and surplus of Rs 18.6 crore in Q4 of FY 2078/79.
Its net interest income has increased from Rs 20.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 22.4 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2078/79. Its operating profit has increased to Rs 41.63 crore in Q4, from Rs 21.55 crore in the corresponding quarter.
The Earnings per Share (EPS) stand at Rs 23.26. Likewise, non-performing loan (NPL) has increased to 3.76 percent in the fourth quarter. Currently, net worth per share stands at Rs 154.49.
