Global IME Bank Limited has taken a major step toward full digitalization by launching a self-service KIOSK for account opening during its 19th annual celebration in late 2025. Currently operating at the bank’s Kamaladi branch in Kathmandu, the KIOSK enables customers to open accounts instantly through a fully paperless, biometric-based process without visiting bank counters.

The KIOSK is part of the bank’s broader Digital Universe platform, which also supports services such as debit card requests, mobile and internet banking registration, and Demat and Mero Share account opening. Global IME Bank plans to expand this technology across all 77 districts, enhancing financial inclusion nationwide.

Recognized with multiple international awards for innovation and excellence, Global IME Bank continues to strengthen its digital ecosystem, integrating KIOSK services with remittance and mobile banking platforms to deliver fast, secure, and modern banking solutions for all customers.
