The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has launched an ‘Advice Collection Portal’ to encourage direct public participation in the formulation of policies, programmes, and the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 BS.

The digital platform has been introduced to gather public feedback and suggestions, aiming to incorporate citizens’ genuine needs and expectations while making governance more transparent and citizen-friendly.

The government is scheduled to unveil its policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year on Monday.

According to officials, Nepali citizens living both in the country and abroad, along with experts and policymakers, can directly submit their recommendations regarding budget preparation and development priorities through the portal.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s press and research expert Dipa Dahal said the initiative was introduced in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of embracing public aspirations and expert input in governance.

Dahal added that the portal would help bridge the gap between citizens and the state while promoting a new culture of good governance.

Citizens can send their suggestions directly to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat through the official website of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
