NRB to auction Repo worth Rs.15 arba; Security matures on Ashwin 23,2076(Thursday)

Nepal Rastra Bank(NRB) is issuing Repurchase Agreement (Repo) worth Rs.15 arba. The agreement will mature within a period of 7 days. NRB will be issuing the agreement via auction on Ashwin 16,2076 at 3:00 PM. The security matures on Ashwin 23,2076. The minimum bid rate should be above 4.5% and any bids at or below 4.5% rate will be rejected.

'A','B'and 'C' class BFIs are eligible to take part in the auction of the security. NRB has been issuing Repo Agreements to supply short term liquidity in BFI's to enable them to take active part in investing activities. Master repurchase agreement is compulsory. Successful bidders will get the allotment at their respective bid rates.
