With a 0.35% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 2,631.48 Level; SAHAS Tops Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a minimal gain today, gaining 9.19 points (0.35%) to settle at 2,631.48. This follows a 26.53-point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,627.93, touching an intraday high at 2,638.72, while the lowest point was 2,622.50. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 6.38 Arba, with 14,172,535 shares traded across 318 companies through 63,371 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.84 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.82 Kharba.

Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 36.53 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 590.

Rapti Hydro And General Construction Limited (RHGCL) led the gainers' list with a 9.97% gain.

 

Meanwhile, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Ltd (PMHPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.92%.

Among sectors, the Manufacturing and Processing Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 1.63%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 0.36%.
