Mountain Energy Nepal Limited has resumed electricity transmission from its 42 MW Mistri Khola Hydroelectric Project after a 20-day disruption caused by flood damage to the transmission line.

The project, located in Narchyang, Annapurna Rural Municipality-4, Myagdi, had been unable to transmit electricity since October 11, when severe flooding in the Kaligandaki River damaged towers along the Nepal Electricity Authority’s 220 kV Dana-Kushma transmission line.

Electricity transmission resumed on October 17 after the damaged towers were repaired.
