Global IME Bank achieves hat-trick with Global Finance’s Best Bank Award 2026

Global IME Bank Limited has received the Best Bank Award 2026 from international financial publication Global Finance, marking its third consecutive win after receiving the same recognition in 2024 and 2025.

The award was presented to the bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Suman Pokharel and Dipchandra Regmi, at a ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand.

Global Finance recognized the bank for its financial resource management, institutional credibility, expanding digital and physical reach, strategic partnerships, customer-focused innovation, use of advanced technology and artificial intelligence, sustainable lending and risk management.

Global IME Bank is the first Nepali bank to receive the Global Finance award. It has also won several other national and international honors, including Euromoney Awards for Excellence in 2022, 2024 and 2025.

The bank operates 341 branches, 366 ATMs, 147 branchless banking centres and 69 extension and revenue collection counters, along with three overseas representative offices. It has a presence in all 77 districts of Nepal.
