The Integrated Directive 2079 issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank stipulates that no fee of more than Rs. 15 can be charged while using inter-bank ATMs.

Now, the maximum fee for using an ATM (inter bank ATM) of a bank other than the bank that supplied the ATM card is Rs. 15.

Similar to this, a new regulation has been implemented even when an electronic transaction results in a deduction from the account but no payment or transfer is actually made. In this approach, the account must be reconciled within three days of the transaction, even if the company that has the sender's account and the organization that holds the recipient's account are different. Previously, such transactions was generally reconciled within seven days.

While the cap on the amount for each transaction has been abolished, the daily fund transfer limit from the wallet has also been altered. The daily transfer limit has been increased to Rs. 2 lakh from wallet to bank account, Rs. 2 lakh from wallet to other bank accounts, and up to Rs. 50,000 from one wallet to another.

Additionally, it has been arranged for the wallet to only charge Rs. 10 when transferring money from the bank. The cost to load and withdraw money from the wallet through the agent ranges from 5 to 25 rupees. It has been added that the fee for sending money between banks through the internet or using mobile banking will only be 10 rupees.

A price of Rs. 10 in the morning, Rs. 20 in the afternoon, and Rs. 200 in the evening is set for transactions that use real-time gross settlement.
