The General Election Observation Committee (GEOC) has reported a peaceful and well-prepared environment ahead of tomorrow’s House of Representatives (HoR) election, with voters expressing excitement and readiness to cast their ballots.

The observation committee released its report based on field visits and information collected through call centres, assessing election preparations, political party participation, coordination, security arrangements, and challenges leading up to the polls.

According to GEOC General Secretary Krishna Man Pradhan, the organization conducted discussions with political parties, candidates, voters, civil society members, chief district officers, and election officials to prepare the report. “A free, fair, and peaceful atmosphere is in place for the election tomorrow,” the report stated.

National election observer Professor Chiranjivi Khanal confirmed that voting centres are fully established, and security agencies are coordinating effectively to ensure smooth operations.

GEOC has mobilized 400 election observers across 250 local levels in 36 districts to monitor the HoR election, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the voting process.

The report underscores strong public enthusiasm and preparedness, signaling a positive start to one of Nepal’s key democratic exercises.
