NESPE recovers 9.21 points today; Market Climbs as BFIs announced bonus shares

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 9.21points or 0.79 % to close at 1,169.30 level. Opening at the 1160.07 level this afternoon, the local bourse was seen in upward trend today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 46.44 crore where more than 7 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,319 transactions. Metro Dev. Bank has announced 19% bonus share and Bank of Kathmandu announced a 26% bonus shares to its shares holders. All the sectors at NEPSE landed in green. Banking, Hydropower and Insurance went up by double digit. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 2.13 points and 0.75 points respectively. BOK, GBIME, SANIMA, NIBPO, ILFC, PRVUPO, REDBL, LVF1, NBB and LUBLwere among the top traded shares. KCDBL, SINDU, ARUN, BOK, MBBL, YETI, NCM, JEFL, CBBL and SHPC were among the top gainers of the day. KBL, LGIL, PADBL, NIL, CNDBL, SETI, SBBLJ, BHBL, LLBS and KRBL were the top losers of the day.
