NEPSE posts a meager drop of 4.24 points as investors in wait and watch phase

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has shrunk by 4.24 points (0.31%) today to close at 1,344.60 points. The market opened at 1348.84 today and fell to 1338.07, however, it rose slightly and ended at 1344.60 by the end of the day. The turnover has increased today to Rs 31.98 crore.
2.99 lakh units of Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) and 1.64 lakh units of NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF1) were traded the most today. Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) and Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) were the companies with top turnover today. Altogether, 11.85 lakh unit shares were traded through 3,659 transactions today. Nepal Bank Ltd. (NBL) and Sanima Mai Hydropower Company (SHPC) were the highest gainers. Mahila Sahayatri Bittiya Sanstha (MSMBS) lost the most today, it was followed by Tinau Bikas Bank Limited (TNBL) and NIBL Samriddhi Fund 1 (NIBSF1).
Today, the sensitive index dropped by 1.04 points, whereas float index shrunk by 0.35 points. Only Finance and Other sector sub-index could end up in green.
