NEPSE loses 17.95 points; turnover above Rs 26.14 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index declined by 17.95 points (1.30%) today to close at 1,364.50 points. The market opened at 1382.45 today and fell to 1377.52, however it rose slightly and ended at 1353 by the end of second trading hour. It recovered slightly and ended at 1364.50. The total turnover of the day stood at Rs 26.14 crore. 1.20 lakh units of Nabil Equity Fund (NED) and 52,127 units of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) were traded the most today. Altogether, 6.33 lakh unit shares were traded through 3,282 transactions today. ILFC Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (ILFCM), that hit positive circuit today, Nabil Equity Fund (NEF), and First Microfinance Development Bank Ltd. (FMDBL) were the highest gainers. Deprosc Development Bank Ltd. (DDBL) was also traded at positive circuit levels. Shrijana Finance (SFFIL), Kabeli Bikas Bank Ltd. (KEBL) and Surya Life Insurance Co Ltd. (SLICL) lost the most today. Today, the sensitive index dropped by 4.03 points, whereas float index shrunk by 1.39 points. Only Hotels ended up in green. 1 6 5 4 3 2
