NEPSE Index went up by 4.79 points to close at 1,173.60 points; Rastriya Beema hits circuit again, LTP stood at Rs 7,509

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 4.79 points or 0.41% % to close at 1,173.60 points.
Today nepse index opened at 1168.76 points.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 46.99 crore where more than 7 lakhs unit shares were traded through 5,950 transactions.
Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) has hit the circuit again. Its last trading price stands at Rs 7,509. The scrips of RBCL has been on the rise since December but from last two trading days the price has faced circuit.
Sensitive index and the float index went up by 1.06 points and 0.43 points respectively.
Banking, Development Bank, Hydropower and finance landed in green whereas Hotels, Insurance, Manufacturing & Production and Others landed in red. Hydropower and Development Bank surged by double digit.
