NEPSE Index went up by 3.04 points to close at 1167.18 points; Hydropower sector up by 45.43 points

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 3.04 points or 0.26% to close at 1167.18 points.
Today nepse index opened at 1164.12 points.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 49.62 crore where more than 9 lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,973 transactions.
Sensitive index and the float index went up by 0.76 points and 0.08 points respectively.
Except Insurance and Development Banks, all the sectors landed in green. Insurance Sector went down by 30.48 points, whereas Hydropower sector went up by 45.43 points.
