NEPSE Index went up by 14.25 points to close at 1164.14 points; Hydropower & Insurance pulls the market

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 14.25 points or 1.24% to close at 1164.14 points. Opening at 1150.01 points this afternoon, the local brouse was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 58.19 crore where more than 10 lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,551 transactions. The hydropower and insurance sector were up by 47.56 & 53.77 points respectively. The insurance has picked up some lost points on the last day of trading for the week. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 3.42 points and 0.9 points respectively. Except Trading, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green.
