NEPSE Index went down by 7.85 points to close at 1146.57; Insurance sector went down by triple digit

There was technical difficulty in disseminating trading data from webpage of NEPSE today during trading hours. However, the trading of shares occurred as usual as the trading window of brikers were up and running. The information such as Market Depth and Live Trading were not available to the investors through official webpage. There was no significant effect of technical issue in trading floor in terms of number of transactions, and turnover. The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 7.85 points or 0.68% to close at 1146.57 points. Opening at 1,154.62 points this afternoon, the local brouse was seen in a downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 41.92 crore where more than 6 lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,287 transactions. Insurance sector went down by 172.84 points. Hydropower and Hotel sector went up by 18.10 and 16.45 points respectively. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 0.33 points and 0.61 points respectively.
