NEPSE Index went down by 6.22 points to close at 1154.62 points; More than 50,000 units of shares each of United & Himalayan Gen. Insurance traded

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 6.22 points or 0.54% to close at 1154.62 points. Opening at 1160.97 points this afternoon, the local brouse was seen in a downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 49.44 crore where more than 7 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,766 transactions. Today, 57,596 shares of HGI were traded through 154 transactions whereas 50,433 shares of UIC were traded through 111 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 1.41 points and 0.47 points respectively. Except Manufacturing & Production, Finance and others, all the sectors at Nepse landed in red.
