NEPSE Index went down by 5.51 points to close at 1110.68 levels; Turnover above Rs 42.04 crore

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 5.51 points or 0.49% to close at 1110.68 level. Opening at 1116.33 level this afternoon, the local brouse was seen in downward trend today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 42.04 crore where more than 5 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,280 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 0.57 points and 0.31 points respectively. Except Hotels and Development Banks and others, all the sectors landed in red. Insurance sector went down by 110.48 points. LICN, PIC and ALICL were among top losers of the day.
