Nepse Index dwindles by double digit to close at 1598.36 points; Turnover above Rs 97.83

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has declined by 14.55 points or 0.90% to settle at 1598.36 points.
Today Nepse Index opened at 1612.91 points and the local bourse was seen in downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above 97.83 crore in which more than 17.30 lakh units shares were traded 9,502 transactions. Manual Turnover of 6.001 crore was seen today.
Chhimek Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (CBBL) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 6.55 crore) while Gurans Life Insurance Limiter Promoter Shares (GLICLP) among the most traded shares (1.62 lakhs units) today.
The best performer of the day was Prime Commercial Bank Limited Promoter Shares (PCBLP) while Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index slightly went down by 3.37 points and 1.26 points respectively.
Except Manufacturing & Production and Others, all sectors at Nepse landed in red. Sub-indices of insurance decline the most by 106.26 points.
