Nepse Index down by 2.63 points to settle at 1565.09 level; Turnover above Rs 61.91 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has lost 2.63 points today (0.17%) to close trading at 1565.09 points.
The stock index opened at 1567.78 points today, and the local bourse increased to 1571.63 points in the first trading hour, after that it was seen in downward trend.
Himalayan General Insurance Company Limited (HGI) topped the list of companies today in terms of turnover of Rs 5.14 crore and while Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) remained at the top in terms of number of shares traded i.e 1 lakh units.
The best performers for the day were Rastriya Beema Company promoter Shares (RBCLPO) and Forward Community Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD), whereas, World Merchant Banking and Finance Limited (WMBF) and Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SKDBL) were the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index slightly decreased by 0.49 points and 0.3 points respectively.
Except Development Banks, Insurance and Others, all other sub-group landed in red zone today. Hydropower sub-group witnessed the biggest drop of 9.76 points whereas Insurance group rises by 5.42 points.
