NEPSE index decline by 14.20 points this week; Prabhu and NMB Bank has highest turnover; Weekly Wrap Up of the NEPSE

NEPSE Index decline by 14.20 points (1.24%) in the trading week between 3rd November to 7th November. This week market opened at 1146.17 points and closed at 1131.97 points. Index fell 6.88 points on Sunday, on Monday index gained 0.97 points, on Tuesday index lost 0.81 points to sit at 1139.45, likewise on Wednesday index lost 1.43 points and on last trading day index again lost 6.05 points.

Candlestick pattern:

Four red candlestick and one green candlestick was formed this week.

Exponential Moving Average:

We have used EMA's of 5 days' time period (blue line), 20 days' time period (red line). At present, NEPSE Index is below both 5 days EMA and 20 days EMA. Values below moving average signals for bearishness.

Moving Average Convergence and Divergence:

MACD line (blue) and the signal line (red line) are in negative zone. MACD line rises above the signal line, this indicates a bullish signal, which suggests that the Nepse index is likely to experience upward momentum.

Fibonacci retracement method:

NEPSE Index is trading below 78.6% Fibonacci level. Trading below 61.8% indicates weight of bear is more than bull.
