Health Insurance Services to Be Provided via National Identity Card System in Nepal
Following a new agreement between the Health Insurance Board and the Department of National ID and Civil Registration, Health insurance services will now be provided based on the National Identity Card in Nepal.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Executive Director Dr. Krishna Prasad Paudel and Director General Namraj Ghimire to integrate health insurance services with the national ID system. The move aims to streamline service delivery and improve efficiency in the health insurance program.
