Nepse Index bounces back from 12 points loss to settle on green; Turnover above Rs 67.93 crore

Following 35.15 points fall in last two days, the benchmark index of Nepal bounced back today to gain 13.68 points (0.86%) and settle at 1608.11 points. Nepse index, which in the initial hours had witnessed a 12 points plunge, climbed its way back and ended with a 13.68 points rise. index The total turnover of the day stood above Rs. 67.93 crore where 11.53 lakh unit shares were traded through 6,407 transactions. The best performers for the day were Green Development Bank Limited (GRDBL), Mirmire Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB), Himalayan Distillary Limited (HDL), Karnali Bikas Bank Limited (KRBL) and United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL) hitting 10% positive circuit break. Whereas, Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited was the biggest loser with Rs 45 or 4.72 percent loss. 80,251 units shares of Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) and 61,568 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKL)  were traded the most today. Sensitive and float index increased by 2.63 points and 0.95 points respectively. Except Manufacturing and Production group which shed 4.61 points, all groups observed gain today.
