NEPSE falls 5 days in a row; Turnover increases slightly

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has shrunk by 21.62 points (1.61%) today to close at 1,322.98 points. The market opened at 1344.60 today, and although it was somewhat stable for an hour, it fell continuously till the end and closed at 1322.98. The turnover has slightly increased today to Rs 34.57 (Rs 2.59 crore more than yesterday). 7 1.49 lakh units of Nabil Balance Fund-1 (NBF1) and 84,502 units of Prabhu Bank Limited  (PRVU) were traded the most today. Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) and Everest Bank Limited (EBL) were the companies with top turnover today. Altogether, 10.18 lakh unit shares were traded through 4,668 transactions today. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Ltd. (MLBL) and Mount Makalu Development Bank Limited (MMDBL) were the highest gainers. Surya Life Insurance Company Limted (SLICL) lost the most today, it was followed by Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (LLBS) and Life Insurance Company Nepal (LICN). 9 Today, the sensitive index dropped by 4.76 points, whereas float index shrunk by 1.5 points.
