Nepal Rastra Bank to invest in fixed deposits of BFIs; Calls for closed bids to deposit Rs 22.15 crore

Nepal Rastra Bank will be investing its Rs 22.15 crore in the fixed deposits of Banks and Financial institutions. The central bank has invited the banks and financial institutions to place their sealed bids mentioning their interest rates.

Rastra Bank has urged the BFIs to provide the application mentioning the desired amount to take as deposit within Shrawan 21, 2075.

Rastra Bank will be depositing Rs 17.73 crore in the commercial banks, Rs 3.31 crore in the national level development banks and Rs 1.11 crore in the national level finance companies. The fixed deposit will be made on Bhadra 1, 2075  and will be matured on Shrawan 32, 2075.
